Proof of Vaccination Program

As per the Fraser Valley East Restrictions, as of September 28, entry to the Abbotsford Centre for indoor ticketed concerts and sporting events will require people to be fully vaccinated. 

The Abbotsford Centre will be following the British Columbia Public Health Order, to enter certain spaces, including indoor ticketed sporting events and concerts, people aged 12 and older will be required to show their proof of vaccination through the BC Vaccine Card or federal proof of vaccination.

We will require the following from individuals 19+ to access the Abbotsford Centre. 

  • Provide proof of vaccination with a valid government ID
  • Required to wear a mask and always keep it on while in the venue 
    • Masks are required in all public indoor settings for all people born in 2017 or earlier (5+).

Youth aged 12 to 18

Youth aged 12 to 18 can carry their own BC Vaccine Card, or have a trusted adult carry it for them.  Youth are not required to show valid government photo ID.  Fans under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult with proof of full vaccination.

Masks are required in all public indoor settings for all people born in 2017 or earlier (5+). Masks must be worn at all times, unless guests are actively eating and drinking. A mask or face covering is defined as a medical or non-medical mask that covers the nose and mouth. A scarf, bandana, neck gaiter or face shield is not an acceptable forms of masking.

Some exemptions:

  • People with health conditions or with physical, cognitive or mental impairments who cannot wear one
  • People who cannot remove a mask on their own
  • Children under the age of 5 (born after 2017), although we recommend all children wear masks too.

Once you receive your BC Vaccine Card, you can save a digital copy of your card to your cell phone or print a copy and keep it with you.  If you do not have a cell phone, you can order a paper copy by phone at 1-833-838-2323 or visit the BC Service Centre.


If you are visiting from outside British Columbia, and are a Canadian visitor: 

People from other Canadian provinces or territories must show: 

  • Provincially/territorially officially recognized vaccine record 
  • Valid government ID from the same province or territory 


If you are an International visitor, including the USA: 

International visitors must show: 

  • Proof of vaccination they used to enter Canada 
  • Passport 


When you arrive, please watch for VACCINE SCREENING TENTS.  Please have your BC Vaccine Card and Government ID ready for our staff to check.  Once your vaccine status has been checked, you can head to the entrance to go through a security check and have your tickets scanned.  

PLEASE NOTE: As of September 27, Proof of Vaccine has to be the Official BC Vaccine Card - Either Digital or Printed - No other forms will be accepted.  Get your BC Vaccine Card at
